Horizons: Elite Dangerous
Frontier Developments published Elite Dangerous: Horizons, a space-flight simulation video game. Horizons include planetary landings, ground vehicle and base support, synthesis of consumables for temporary ship upgrades, ship-launched fighters, passenger missions, and a character creator. It also offers co-op multi-crew support to larger ships. Planetary landings are procedurally created planets that initially support only worlds with no atmosphere. The SRV (Surface Reconnaissance Vehicle) is a six-wheeled vehicle used to transport players to planetary bases and other locations.
The vehicle can be equipped with weapons and a “wave scanner” to find resources, shipwrecks, and a datalink system that allows for hacking into bases. It also has thrusters that can lift it from the ground for brief periods. The wheels have thrusters that can attach the vehicle to the ground on low gravity worlds. You can combine materials found on planets to increase ship jump range, synthesize repair materials, and upgrade weapons.
