FFXIV: Thoughts Per Second Clenches World First Clearing of Asphodelos Savage
There are progression raiders who have been learning Final Fantasy XIV. Although they might be desperate for more Extreme and Savage content, they are still available. They prepare their gear and master mechanics to beat Square Enix’s challenges.
Yesterday saw the introduction of the new Savage Endwalker‘s raid wing, Pandaemonium, to the game. The best FFXIV raiders got to work with this drop, smashing their heads into the first four Asphodelos Savage circles. These groups are vying for World First, which is the distinction of being the first to complete a Savage raid wing. It takes execution, deduction, and a little luck to accomplish this feat.
The Thoughts Per the Second team of Radiance completed the raid wing. This is a free company on Gilgamesh’s Gilgamesh server. Yesterday at 4:48 PM PST, the team reported their clear. The complete roster of the team is below:

- Scholar: Kiona Linear
- Sofia Pirion: Black Mage
- Shina Florem, Reaper
- Bard: Phantom Assassin

Square Enix announced the World First today with congratulations from Naoki Yoshida, Square Enix’s creative director. Also revealed were the second and third place clears. Aether Group 3 was completed around two hours after Thoughts Per Second, Entropy, and Entropy had finished an additional hour.
