Digimon Survive gets a new teaser trailer.
Bandai Namco released a new trailer to promote the delayed Digimon Survive game, which is expected to launch this year. Although the trailer isn’t full of new information, it does give us a glimpse at some of the game’s cast members and how battles work.
All of these characters are original to Survive. Long-time fans will love to see familiar faces like Agumon or Lopmon. The gameplay is a unique combination of visual novel-style cutscenes with RPG combat strategy. It’s similar to Fire Emblem and Final Fantasy Tactics.

Digimon Survive is not the only adaptation currently in development. Digimon Con 2022 confirmed that another Digimon game was being developed. The new game will focus less on Cybersleuth, and more on the Digital World and the 12 Olympians players will encounter.
Digimon Survive currently has a 2022 release window. However, it will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. Digimon Story Cybersleuth Complete Edition is available on PS4, PC and Nintendo Switch.
