VALORANT PATCH 4.10 NOTES- RELEASED DATE, OMEN MODEL CHANGES, HAVEN COLLISION UPDATES

Valiant’s Update 4.10 will go live this week. Its Patch Notes will reveal its Release Date and a set of Omen model changes and collision updates for the Haven map.

Valiant’s patch 4.10 is due to release on May 24/25. This also happens when Teamfight Tactics and League of Legends receive new updates.

Valorant Patch 4.10

The latest patch for the free-to-play shooter also includes changes to Agents’ charge bars and several bug fixes.

You’ll find everything new in Valorant 4.10 as it goes live.

Agent Updates

    • Agent Progress/Charge bars – Made a consistent move to a consistent place and made a uniform size for the following agents:

      • Reyna

      • Cipher

      • Breach

      • Fade

      • Jett

      • Omen

      • Phoenix

      • Raze

      • Skye

    • Yoru

OMEN

  • The New 3P model was updated to improve detail and fidelity.

MAP UPDATES

HAVEN

    • The following areas were cleared of pixel collisions:

      • You can’t walk up to the front of A site.

    • Without a boost ability, you can no longer jump to the top of the Cite cover.

GAMEPLAY SYSTEMS

  • A New Performance graph was added to show Shooting Errors values for the client’s recent shots. This information is identical to the crosshair error settings but will help players better understand their performance after an engagement.

Gameplay Consistency updates

    • The problem where framerate spikes or pings could cause excessive buffer development and persistence for several seconds. You may have experienced this while it was occurring:

      • Based on your request, an increase in server-side input latency could cause inputs to take longer than expected.

      • You may be delayed in your view of the other players, which could make it harder for you to react.

      • Both cases did not show the additional latency in the “Network RTT Average/Max” graphs or in-game scoreboard ping values.

    • A new Performance graph with “Network RTTJitter” was added to assist you in understanding network issues that are not represented in the Network RTT Avg/Max values

  • A new Performance graph, “Network RTT + processing Delays” has been added. This graph captures the latency that you experience as a result of Network Round Trip Time and Server move processing delays.

BUGS

Agents

    • Allies will now hear the “destroyed” voice lines of allies for deployable capabilities. This includes:

      • Chamber: Trademark and Rendezvous

      • Killjoy: Turret, Alarmbot

      • Cypher: Trapwire, Spycam

      • Yoru: Gatecrash

    • Fixed a bug in which Neon’s High Gear would stop automatically after using Fast Lane and Relay Bolt

    • Fixed an issue that observers could see Viper’s enemies glowing red when they were close to Viper’s Pit.

    • Fixed Chamber Rendezvous radius is not visible to observers and spectators

    • Fixed Brimstone’s Incendiary (Q), feeling damage in chunks 15 instead of 1, like the other zona’s damage abilities in the

Game

    • The overall DPS should remain the same.

Cosmetics

  • Fix for minor flickering on Protocol weapon’s transparent VFX line VFX during inspecting, ADSing, and reloading.

Gameplay Systems

    • Fixed an issue where keybindings for agents were not working properly, even though they were applied in the settings menu.

      • Although the fix was actually implemented in 4.09, we wanted to ensure that users in the live game were not experiencing any issues in this area before declaring it “fixed”.

  • Fixed a bug that caused the combat report to not always show up throughout the game.

KNOWN ISSUES

  • Minimal HUD enabled Observers will not see spike plant or defuse bar, even if they are spectating the Agent planting or defusing.
