It’s finally here! The Simpsons Hit & Run remake has been completed
It’s profitable and fun for everyone involved to offer players the nostalgic feeling of playing their favorite video games from years past.
Take The Simpsons Hit and Run as an example. The Simpsons Hit & Run was developed by Radical Entertainment in 2003 and was released as a more family-friendly version of GTA 3. It has a large fan base that is eager to have it revived today.
Unfortunately, Activision, who owns The Simpsons Hit and Run, seems not to be interested in revitalizing the game. This is unfortunate because this will probably become an instant success for both veteran and new Simpsons fans.
Indie developers can do the job for gaming gods if big publishers refuse to. In August 2021 a developer named Reubs created a remake of the Simpsons in under a week. It was not the complete product, but it still showed us how great the remake would be if it had more time and financial support.
The Simpsons Hit & Run remake has now been completed. Not only is it beautiful, but it also allows the player to travel the world on foot or by car. It even features sampled audio dialog for the characters.
Unfortunately, the remake won’t be available to public downloads whether they are free or require a transaction. This is because if the remake were made public it would undoubtedly be the target of a DMCA and would therefore be removed from the internet. The only way this remake can be preserved is if it remains private and exclusive to ‘s independent developer.
It’s possible to find a silver lining in this project. Activision may take note and realize that both newcomers and old-timers alike are eager to play The Simpsons Hit & Run. It’s not likely to happen any time soon.
