Red Dead Redemption remake launches with Undead Nightmare but without multiplayer
It looks like the rumored Red Dead Redemption remake will launch without one feature that made it so popular in the first game. This is an absolute shame.
You’re probably aware that a Red Dead Redemption remaster or remake is in the works. The announcement has been rumored for months. even released a sneaky update on the Rockstar Games website. The remake is still a long way off, and we’re waiting to hear if it will be released this year. If so, then the official announcement should come any time now.
While fans argue whether to order a game that may or may not exist, an insider suggested the Red Dead Redemption remake will launch without multiplayer.
When you remember Red Dead Redemption, it’s probably because of the amazing open-world story. The original Red Dead Redemption had an amazing multiplayer mode that puts Red Dead Online to shame.
Red Dead Redemption had a variety of multiplayer game modes, from full-on competitive PVP to co-op. It’s understandable that Rockstar has decided to remove the old multiplayer, given the availability of Red Dead Online. It’s not surprising that Rockstar would exclude the older multiplayer, given Red Dead Online’s existence.
What’s the good news? According to the same source, the remake is also expected to include the Undead Nightmare expansion. This DLC has been widely considered one of the best video games of all time. If we had to pick between Undead Nightmare and multiplayer, what would you choose? The zombies always win.
