Starfield Fans are scared of massive Day One Patch
Starfield fans have already expressed serious concerns that this open-world sci-fi RPG would require an extensive patch on day one.
It’s becoming more common for big releases to have day-one patches. Fallout 76, the final game by Bethesda Softworks, had a patch bigger than the game itself. Starfield fans are on edge.
Starfield is already available for download, but not to play. This applies to Xbox Game Pass and pre-orderers of the RPG. However, it has recently been revealed that all other people will have the option to pre-download from the 9th of August. The game weighs in at an impressive 125GB. This is good news for anyone who hopes to have the RPG available on 6 September.
There’s always the threat of an update on day one that can ruin all our plans. It’s important to note that there is no news of a Day One Patch for Starfield from Bethesda. Fans are prepared for the worst, but when they look at most AAA games released today.
The Starfield subreddit is debating whether a patch will be released on day one. Some fans are hoping for at least a 50GB patch, while others point out the positives of Starfield and Bethesda saying This is their least bugged game.
While we wait for Starfield, why not look over all the amazing things that are already confirmed? Bethesda announced an “astonishing” number of side missions just this week. The game also has more than 1,000 planets, different factions with branching paths, and an awesome Space Samurai.
