Facepunch Studios released Rust, a survival-only multiplayer video game in February 2018, for Microsoft Windows. In Rust, players are pitted against one another in an open-world environment that is harsh and hostile. The only goal is to survive. The main danger is not from animals like wolves or bears but rather other players.
The majority of maps are generated procedurally, except for Hapis Island which is a prebuilt map. PvP combat uses bows, melee weaponry and craftable weapons. Bullets, projectiles and others travel on a trajectory that is ballistic rather than an arc. Each gun has a variety of bullets, such as high-velocity and explosive ones, which allows for a more varied strategy.
The damage is calculated by hit tracking; head shots are more harmful than other shots. Weapon attachments such as holosights give you an edge over your opponents. In order to survive, players must build bases and create tools. They can also team up with others.
How to Download and Install Rust
- Click on the download button below. You will be redirected to a download page for Rust. If you’re asked for a password, use: www.gametrex.com
- Download all 5 parts of Rust from the download page.
- Once the 5 parts have finished downloading, put all the downloaded .rar file on your desktop, and then extract the “Part 1” file onto your desktop using a software such as WinRAR. Open the extracted folder.
- Create a new Steam account – use a new account (not your current one) to do this in case there’s a chance it gets banned.
- Run “Rust_Setup.exe” as an administrator and the console for Rust should start installing – wait for it to finish.
- Run “RustClient.exe” as an administrator and wait for Rust to load
- Run the game setup inside the extracted folder and install the game.
- Once Rust has loaded, press the F1 Key and the server should start to load.
- Once you are in the game, press the F1 key again and type in any password – make sure it is a unique password and that you remember it for the future.
