Grand Theft Auto 6 Announcement Expected This Week, Trailer Set for December Release
Rockstar Games is reportedly set to officially announce Grand Theft Auto 6 by the end of this week, with a trailer expected to follow in December. This timing coincides almost exactly with the 12th anniversary of the GTA 5 announcement, which took place on November 3, 2011.
Take-Two Interactive, Rockstar’s parent company, has expressed high expectations for GTA 6. CEO Strauss Zelnick previously mentioned that the game needs to offer something unprecedented while maintaining the signature feel of the Grand Theft Auto series.
While it’s no secret that GTA 6 is in development—thanks to last year’s major leak that exposed early footage—the official details have been sparse. Fans are eagerly awaiting an update on the game, with many speculating that further details, including a release date, could be revealed during Take-Two’s next earnings call on November 6.
Rockstar has historically used earnings calls to drop key information. Last year, the first trailer for GTA 6 was released just ahead of the November earnings call. Fans hope for similar news this year, particularly since Take-Two has previously mentioned a Fall 2025 release window for the game.
Although excitement is building, neither Rockstar Games nor Take-Two Interactive have officially confirmed any GTA 6 announcements. In the meantime, players can enjoy the Halloween events and new content in GTA Online, including the Ludendorff Cemetery Survival mode.
Stay tuned for potential updates as the gaming world awaits the next chapter in the Grand Theft Auto saga.
