AOC unveils new high-performance 300Hz gaming monitor at 1440p
AOC kicks off the new year by announcing the best gaming monitors in 2022 – The AGON AG274QGM.
After today’s press release, we were able to speak with a spokesperson from AOC’s AGON, who confirmed the arrival of the panel. He also lifted the lid on some display’s core specs.
The PRO AG274QGM, an esports-focused monitor, would be the first to have a stunning 300Hz refresh rate and a lightning-fast GTG response time. The panel will also include mini-LED backlight technology and VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certification. It will also have a wide DCI–P3 gamut, so you can be sure of a spectacular experience regardless of what genre you choose to play.
The available and RRP for the AGO Pro AG274QGM have not been confirmed.
AOC AGON AG274QGM – Designed for esports gamers
The AGON PRO AG274QGM will be AOC’s newest AGON monitor. It would feature a mini-LED IPS display with 300Hz and a 1440p refresh rate. The AG274QGM is the fastest QHD display in its class, with a refresh rate of 300Hz and a screen resolution of 1440p. NVIDIA’s CES 2022 press conference was the first to tease the monitor. Here, they revealed their vision for future gaming monitors.
The brand’s press release explains how the AG274QGM was created for today’s esports players. All core specs and features are designed for high-performance gaming. This includes many OSD features (many of which are not yet public).
For unrivalled smoothness, the AG274QGM’s 300Hz refresh speed will work well with the Nvidia G-Sync Ultimate module. The panel will also offer a 1ms GTG resolution time, which should reduce annoying screen artifacts like ghosting and smearing.
AG274QGM will be equipped with mini-LED backlight technology. It has 576 local dimming areas that create a lifelike contrast ratio. This helps reduce haloing in situations where light objects contrast against dark backgrounds. This monitor is expected to have a wide 95% DCI–P3 color gamut. VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certification is also possible.
The AG274QGM, like other models in the AOC AGON series, will also include NVIDIA’s integrated Reflex Analyzer. This allows gamers to track any input lag between mouseclicks or on-screen results. This monitor is not only capable of blaming your tools, but it also looks great.
AOC also revealed the AOC Gaming GM510 Nvidia Reflex mouse.
