SpaceEngine is a 1:1 science-based Universe Simulator, which features billions of stars and galaxies at full scale. SpaceEngine allows you to explore Earth, our neighbors in the Solar System, and a billion light years away galaxy, as well as orbiting a black hole.
You can explore all of space and time – travel at speeds a million times faster than light and speed up time to see the motion of orbits on a thousand planets. Each planet that you will encounter on your journey features a procedural 3D landscape and detailed textures.
You can explore everything you see up in the skies – including stars and galaxies, moons and planets, comets and asteroids, neutron and black stars, and star clusters and Nebulas – by pressing a single button. In the flight simulator mode, you can fly any spacecraft in the world with Newtonian mechanics and autopilot pilot assistance features.
SpaceEngine also makes it easy for modders to create add-ons. You can create planets, galaxies, or star systems. Import your spacecraft model, make custom GUI skins, and much more.
