Streamer Asmongold Confirms Twitch Return Date

While Twitch is still the most popular streaming service for video gaming, many prominent names have moved to other platforms. Even though many uncertainties surround Twitch’s future, the one thing that is positive for Twitch users who continue to watch Twitch content is its popularity. Asmongold recently tweeted that he would be streaming again on Twitch. Asmongold stated that he would start broadcasting on September 11, according to the content creator. He also announced a date for his return and gave fans a sneak peek at his future schedule. He will play Final Fantasy 14: Stormblood and have his first P.O. He will also be streaming the box stream from his home over the weekend. He also noted that changes are being made in the future and that it is “good stuff, not bad.”
The news comes shortly after the streamer took a break. Although the reason for the break was not known, streamers and fans probably knew it. Asmongold has talked about quitting streaming for some time now, and he has admitted that streaming hasn’t been fun recently. He also took a break shortly after making controversial remarks about #ADayOffTwitch.
The streamer isn’t the first to leave Twitch. He has been absent from Twitch broadcasts multiple times before. Back in January of this year, Asmongold decided to take a break from streaming, saying that the reasons for his decision were too long to list. Asmongold’s last break lasted just over a week. His previous one lasted nearly 2 months.
As many streamers migrate to other platforms, Asmongold’s return is a welcome sign. Twitch recently lost two of its most prominent figures. DrLupo, a YouTube exclusive, announced last week that he had signed a significant exclusivity agreement. A few days later, TimTheTatman, the Warzone streamer who is hugely popular, announced that he was also moving to YouTube.v
