A new Pokémon movie is coming to Netflix in October
Pikachu and Ash are exploring a mysterious forest in search of the latest Pokemon movie. Pokemon the Movie Secrets of the Jungle will be available on Netflix on Oct. 8. The Pokemon Company released a new trailer on Tuesday.
Secrets of the Jungle is about Ash Ketchum and Pikachu as they explore Okoya’s forest and meet Koko, a boy raised by Dada Zarude to become a Mythical Pokemon. Koko believes he’s a Pokemon. But Ash’s sudden appearance seems to make him doubt that belief.
Doctor Zed and his Biotope company, along with a disguised Team Rocket, want to destroy Okoya’s forest to access the healing powers of the secret spring. Biotope attempts to destroy the Okoya forest, but Ash, Zarude, Koko, along with a disguised Team Rocket, are prepared to stop them.
Secrets of the Jungle is an alternate Pokemon movie story. It is a sequel to I Choose You! and The Power of Us. However, it doesn’t connect to any of the earlier movies in the series. Pokemon Sword and Shield users can also connect with the movie through the Pokemon Trainer Club newsletter.
Pokemon the Movie Secrets of the Jungle was the 23rd Pokemon movie. It was released in Japan in December 2020. Its international premiere on Netflix is also the movie’s Netflix debut.
