Marvel’s Avengers is getting its first raid and Spider-Man before 2022
Marvel’s Avengers continues to expand on its War for Wakanda expansion. A new hero and activity will be added later in the year. Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics announced Wednesday that Spider-Man would join Marvel’s Avengers and the first raid.
One year after launch, players will finally be able to raid Marvel’s Avengers. Klaw, the main villain of War for Wakanda, will be fought by players in a unique boss fight. Crystal Dynamics promised that the raid would feature new enemies and that it was a completely new type of activity, different from the Omega Level Threat, which launched this Summer.
A Marvel’s Avengers exclusive character, Spider-Man, will be available on the PlayStation version of Marvel’s Avengers by the end of this year. Crystal Dynamics first announced Spider-Man’s exclusive status just before the launch of Marvel’s Avengers last year. Although the exact date of the raid and Spider-Man are unknown, the promotional image for Spider-Man’s raid shows him swinging towards Klaw. It seems like PlayStation players will have the web-head in their possession before they face Marvel’s Avengers first major bad.
The game’s future road map also contains several improvements to the game’s economy and gear upgrades. Old events will be available before the year ends, and players will find more skins inspired by the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Crystal Dynamics will share more information on its 2022 plans before the end of this year. However, it assured Polygon that there is more Marvel’s Avengers content.
