Apex Legends Escape patch notes: New Legend, map, and gun!
Apex Legends Season 2 is here. It will bring with it a new character and gun, a map , andpromises to fix server stability.
We will be covering more details about the new season eleven content but we will cover the basics as well as all the important things!
New Legend: Ash
Titanfall’s simulacrum pilot, , is the latest addition to the roster. This former-woman is a terrifying beast and it’s absolutely terrifying to face. Consider her unique abilities:
Passive: Marked to Death
Ash’s map shows where recent deathboxes are located. Ash receives a prompt to mark the deathboxes.
Tactical: Arc Snare
Toss a spinning snare at the enemy who gets too close.
Ultimate Phase Breach
Tear open a portal that leads to a specific location. The portal is only available for a limited time. Anyone can access it during that time.
Her unique abilities add an extra element of terror to any firefight. While you may be strong against one team, an Ash nearby will be able join the fight and take out any weaker members.
I can see Ash as a great character to work with.
Seer The two can strike unwary squads during a fight, or after one has ended.
ValkyrieAside from the wonderful dialogue content we get with them. It can be extremely useful for Ash to use his passive ability with Valk’s flying to drop down on a less skilled squad. This portal adds a lot more flexibility to the team.
Wattson:Ash and Wattson’s fencing could effectively trap someone in a restricted area. Then, you have a highly skilled AoE-damaging squad.
Storm Point: New Map
It’s quite exciting to see the beautiful addition to Apex maps. It’s not just beautiful, but it also contains some of the most dangerous creatures. There are various monsters and beasties that can be found all over the map. Wildlife Nest can be found all over the map. These nests can be identified as red markers on the map. Each nest is static and finite. This means that they always exist in the same spot with the same wildlife, and there are very few variations.
Wildlife will respect their boundaries and be respectful of anyone who enters their territory. You will get some small rewards for fighting the fauna.
- Smart Loot Drops – On death, both Prowlers or Spiders will have the opportunity to drop ammo and attachments for your squad, based on weapon loadouts. There are also a few consumables.
- EVO points: A small percentage of damage done to wildlife can be rewarded towards your EVO armor. Flyers are also eligible.
- Crafting Materials Clearing the Nest Rewards a lump of crafting material which is divided equally among all members of the nest at completion.
There are many points of interest on the map, as well as interactable items such gravity cannons that can propel you around the map.
