Halo Infinite may be the most important title in the franchise’s history since the original. This is because, despite a solid original trilogy and a well received fourth entry, the franchise’s recent history has not been the most successful.

Fans are desperate for a new Halo 5 because of the nonsensical Halo 5 campaign and the Master Chief Collection’s disastrous launch (and subsequent rebirth).

When is the Halo Infinite release date?

Recently, it was revealed that the Infinite Release Day would take place Wednesday, December 8, 2021. This makes it the perfect gift to give Xbox One and Xbox Series X owners.

A few fans are worried about the Halo Infinite release date, mainly because there have not been any previews for single-player campaigns, which has always been an integral part of the series.

Halo Infinite will be released in a few months. Expect a trailer for the single-player campaign to appear before then.

Platforms

We know the game will launch on Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, and PC.

Rumours circulated that the Xbox One consoles would soon be discontinued, but this is not the truth.

What about the Nintendo Switch or PlayStation? It is unlikely.

Phil Spencer, head of Xbox, commented recently on how he hopes to bring Halo Infinite over to PS4 in order to create a “connected ecosystem” for gamers.

The Halo Infinite Beta is currently not available. However, we anticipate it will be released in the fall or summer, if one is set.

Halo Infinite Beta

We don’t have an official launch date for Halo Infinite Beta yet, but we are assured that there will be ample opportunities to play it before then. 343 Industries will host a Halo Infinite “Flighting Program” pre-launch. It is very similar to the current Halo: Master Chief Collection test, which consists of many “opt-in” flights.

According to a Halo Waypoint post, these opt-in flights “start small and gradually expand out until release.”

Many people expect a beta version of this product to appear in some form during the Summer or early Fall. Details about testing will be available in July, which is next week.

Pre-orders of the new title may have access to a public beta.
