MONSTER HUNTER RISE PC DATE – ALL THAT WE KNOW ABOUT ITS STEAM LAUNCH
Monster Hunter Rise was released on Nintendo Switch in early 2021 to great acclaim. The sixth mainline entry of the series, set in a new locale and pits hunters against new creatures, caught the attention of many fans who monster Hunter had spoiled: World’s Steam version. This left them wondering if a possible PC release may be on the horizon.
Capcom, the publisher and developer of the game, was primarily concerned with its Switch version. After launch, Capcom delivered expected updates that fixed bugs and added new content. Although a Steam version was mentioned later, we didn’t know when Monster Hunter Rise would hit the PC. We have all the information we can about the title, including details regarding PC-specific enhancements and gameplay.
Com was featured in its segment at the Tokyo Games Show 2021. This was when it announced that Monster Hunter Rise would be coming to Steam on January 12, 2022.
Monster Hunter Rise Gameplay
Monster Hunter Rise stays true to the core of the series. It focuses on hunting down monsters that yield valuable materials that can be used to make better gear. You’ll gradually be introduced to stronger monsters, which will yield better materials. This creates a very addictive grind.
The title includes new titles like the Magnamalo and the Magnamalo and many familiar yet equally deadly beasties.
The Firebug, which allows you to scale walls and move around the map more quickly, gives it a renewed focus on mobility. You can also use the Malamute, a rideable companion, to increase your speed. It also acts as an aggressive alternative for the Palico, which returns.
You can choose from 14 different weapon types during your hunts, each with its attack speed and move set. You can also use the Firebug to perform specific attacks for each weapon. Wyvern Riding allows you to take control of monsters and deal great damage.
Monster Hunter Rise introduces a new quest type: The Rampage. This will see you defend Kamura Village against waves of attacking monsters.
Monster Hunter Rise PC Features
Monster Hunter Rise’s PC edition arrives on Steam with several platform-specific enhancements. These improvements include 4K resolution and ultrawide monitor support. High-res textures are also included. The controls of the title are optimized for keyboard use, and voice chat is also available.
For PC users, the postlaunch content that was available up to version 3.6.1 of Nintendo Switch will also be available. This includes several collaborations and additional monsters, as well as a new ending.
Monster Hunter Rise Steam Demo
The Monster Hunter Rise PC demo allows you to try out the games before purchasing them. It is now available from October 13, 2021. You can access multiple gear sets and take on three more difficult monster quests, either solo or with up to four others.
You will complete two tutorial quests, but they won’t completely remove the learning curve for each weapon. Additionally, you’ll encounter other monsters while roaming the demo’s area.
