Final Fantasy 7’s received its first modifications within a few days of its PC release on Epic Games Store. This shows that a dedicated fan base can still do their thing, regardless of the absence of official tools.
Final Fantasy 7 Remake’s initial mods aren’t make any major gameplay changes. However, they address a few issues with the PC port and give players more options for how their favorite characters look.
The Dynamic resolution disabler mod is what you need to get started. It stops the game’s visual quality from dropping when the frame rate drops too low.
Another Final Fantasy 7 remake mod improves performance. This makes the game more responsive on less powerful hardware. You can disable blur effects and depth of field in cutscenes if you don’t like them. Also, toggle the UI on and off.
This FFVII Remake mod allows you to replace the Buster Sword with a simple iron pipe. You can replace the Buster Sword’s Scarlet design if simplicity is not your style. It’s unlikely that an enemy will notice this, and even if they do, it will only take a few seconds before death.
A mod allows Tifa to wear her violet dress for a lifetime. An FF7 remake mod allows Aerith to wear her red dress for life.
Cloud can wear his Gorgeous Dress all the time, even if it is not practical in combat.
