Last year, sonic Frontiers would have launched, but Sega delayed it for quality purposes.
Sonic Frontiers is the latest entry by the blue hedgehog, who recently celebrated his 30th birthday. A few details were known about Frontiers before the reveal at The Game Awards. However, according to SEGA, Frontiers was originally set to launch in 2021.
Sonic Stadium reported on and translated information from the Investor Q&A dated December 14, 2021. Sega representatives stated their decision to move the release. It read as follows:

The representative mentioned that pricing needs to be rethought. She advised that they are “focusing on quality and investing a certain amount of money in development.” Sonic Frontiers is still a ways away from launching. We’ll keep you updated once we learn more.
