Days Gone has been in the news recently because Jeff Ross, the director of the game, claimed that it had sold 8 million copies within a year. Although that claim has been contested since then, Ross shared more details about his tenure at Sony, this time about a rejected project.

According to PSU David Jaffe spoke with Ross about his latest YouTube upload. Ross shared that he had pitched the idea of an “open-world Resistance” game to Sony during his time at Sony. It was unfortunately shut down quickly.
