Halo Infinite includes a strong ranking that is attached to the battle pass. These bonuses are not meant to reward players who progress but may be considered too easy by some.
343 Industries has declared the scheme “overly generous” in a Halo Update. This will result in players having their ranks reduced and a release period.

343 claims that the scheme doesn’t meet their expectations. This is because players are placed far beyond their skill level. It is speculating that this makes it far too easy for them to advance.
This will cause players to be degraded by an entire tier. If you have a Diamond certificate, your rank will be lowered to Platinum. As the developer makes sure players spend less time at levels that are not relevant to their skills, the reset will not be disruptive.
The reset will occur on Tuesday afternoon ( 02/22).
