Nintendo has announced that The Legend of Zelda Majora’s Mask will be coming to the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack (NSO) next February 25. Nintendo continues to release the best N64 games on the service, following the success of Banjo Kazooie.

Majora’s mask was first released in 2000. It is a direct sequel to The Legend of Zelda. Link’s progress will be reset every three days using a time travel trick if Skull Kid isn’t caught in time. Majora’s Mask, released in the same way as its predecessor, was also praised for its darker aspects.

Majora’s Mask now has a clear release date. Fans can prepare for the story by playing the Ocarina of Time. This game is available through the NSO Expansion Pass. We won’t know the next big N64 game until Nintendo announces it. Launch dates for these NSO games have not been consistent.

Fans won’t have to wait long for The Legend of Zelda Majora’s Mask. It’s also available separately on the Wii U’s Virtual Console. A 3DS remake was released in 2015.
