BAFTA Games Awards 2022 – Returnal and It takes Two to Lead the Nominations
This year’s British Academy Games Awards (BAFTA) announced the nominations. Returnal, It takes Two led the charge. Ratchet & Clank was next at seven, with Psychonauts taking six and Forza Horizon HTML5 taking six each. Death loop grabbed five.
We have 16 categories, including Best British Game and Best animation, but we are missing Best Performer or Best Supporting Performer. The BAFTA announced the nominees for Best Game. This includes Forza Horizon 5 and Deathloop. Inscryption, It takes Two, as well as Ratchet&Clank: Rift Apart.

Surprisingly Metroid Dread was not nominated for the EE Game award. The public votes for this award. Other than that, Nintendo received nominations for Animal Crossing New Horizons and Mario Party Superstars. These were in the Evolving Game and Family categories, respectively.
