ELDEN RING: HOW to SUMMON SPIRITS EXPLAINED
This guide will show you how to summon Spirits from Elden Ring. This guide explains everything you need to know about Spirits Ashes. It also describes how to gather Jellyfish Ashes.
Elden Ring has many new features, including an open world based on George R.R. Martin. Its combat style should be familiar to anyone who has played previous Dark Souls titles. However, there are a few modifications and additional features.
One of the new features is summoning Spirit Ashes. This can be used to damage and distract enemies in battle. This guide will show exactly how to summon Spirits from Elden Ring. It will also explain where to find the summoning bell and how to unlock Spirit Tuning for upgrading your spirits.
HOW TO GET THE SUMMONING BELL TO CALL IN SPIRITS IN ELDEN RING?
First, acquire the Spirit Calling Bell to summon a Spirit in Elden Ring. This item will remain in your Key Items tab and does not need to be equipped to summon your combat companion.
These are the methods you can use to locate this summoning bell:
- After obtaining your spectral steed from Torrent, you can rest at the Church of Ellen Site of Grace.
- Purchase it at the Roundtable Holder from the Twin Maiden Husks
To obtain the Torrent, activate the Church of Elleh Site of Grace. It is located north of the Stranded Graveyard, where you first entered the open world. You can either find another Site of Grace or die to trigger a conversation between Melina and you. Torrent will be granted to you if you accept her offer. You can now ride on horseback whenever it is summoned.
After obtaining Torrent, you must rest or die and respawn during the night at the Church of Ellen Site of Grace. Renna, an NPC, will ask you to summon a spectral horse. To get the Spirit Calling Bell and the Lone Wolf Ashes Spirit, tell Renna yes.
If Renna does not appear, you can purchase the summoning bell from the Twin Maiden Husks in the Roundtable Hold for 100 Runes. For 500 Runes, you can also buy the Lone Wolf Ashes Spirit from them. After resting in a Site of Grace outside Limgrave, you can unlock this location by speaking to Melina or defeating Margit the Fell Omen at Stormveil Castle.
HOW TO SOMON SPIRITS IN ELDEN RING
Now that you’ve got the spirit summoning bell, it’s time to learn how Eldenring summons spirits. You will need to equip your Spirit’s Ashes to either the Pouch or Equipment. You should be careful as enemies could still attack you if the game doesn’t pause.
You can use the Spirit Ashes the same way as you use HP or FP flasks. To do this, open the menu and choose “Equipment.” Scroll down to the bottom to select the slot you would like to assign a Spirit’s Ashes. To summon the Spirit, you can quickly switch to the summon Spirit by pressing the “Use Item” button. This button is for Xbox gamers, Square on PlayStation, and R by default on PC.
You can also summon a Spirit from Elden Ring by assigning each one a button on the Pouch. You will find the Pouch on the right-hand side. You can change its contents by pressing the “Switch” button. Next, select a Spirit Ash and assign it to a specific direction using the d-pad. You can summon it by pressing Y on Xbox or Triangle on PlayStation and then the appropriate d-pad input. To access their Pouch contents, PC users should press E instead.
WHEN CAN YOU CONTACT THE SPIRIT ASHES OF ELDEN RING FOR SIMON SPIRIT ASHES?
Each Spirit is worth a different amount (FP), so you won’t be able to summon spirit Ashes if your blue bar is empty. If you intend to use Spirit Ashes often, make sure to increase your Mind attribute or increase the number of FP flasks at a Site of Grace.
Remember that you can summon Spirits in Elden Ring only once per lifetime. This means that only one Spirit Ashcan ever be used to battle bosses or other difficult enemies. Rebirth Monuments are not the only places where Spirits cannot be summoned. If the bottom right-hand side of your HUD displays a glowing white icon that looks like a gravestone, then you will know you’re in the safe territory to summon a Spirit. It can be found just above your War of Ashe’s skill or parry ability if you have a shield.
HOW TO UNLOCK JELLYFISH SPIRIT ASHES AND SPIRIT TUNING IN ELDEN RING
You will need to do a side quest to upgrade Spirit Ashes. First, go to Stormhill Shack (just below Stormveil Castle), and talk with Roderick. To obtain the Jellyfish Spirit Ashes, you can speak with Roderick. You don’t have to be disappointed if you miss it. It can still be received later.
Then, wait until Roderika leaves Stormhill Shack. Next, travel to Roundtable Hold and talk with Roderika by the fire. You can also defeat Godrick, the Grafted at Stormveil Castle, and force her to move. Talk with Smith Master Hewg after speaking with her. Talk with them until you are exhausted of dialogue options. Then, go to the middle of the table and change the time.
Roderick can help you unlock Spirit Tuning. She can be found across from Smith Master Hewg at Roundtable Hold. After Roderick has moved to this area, please select the “Please” option when speaking with Roderick. If they are not available the first time, you can request the Jellyfish Spirit Ashes.
HOW DO I UPGRADE SPIRIT ASHES IN ELDEN RING
To upgrade Spirit Ashes in Elden Ring, you will need to spend Runes, and Ghost Glovewort order Glave Glovewort. Bring your Glovewort and Runes to Roderika at Roundtable Hold and talk to her about upgrading. To level up to normal Spirit Ashes, which are usually groups of animals or creatures, Grave Glovewort must be used. Ghost Glovewort, on the other hand, is required to level up Renowned Spirit Ashes. These are more likely to have single companions such as humans or large creatures. The Glovewort’s number will tell you how much it will improve your Spirit Ashes. The greater the number, the more influential the upgrade.
You can find both Grave and Ghost Glovewort types in Catacomb Dungeons or Crypts. These can be found by going into the caves and doors located at the sides of the cliffs. You will find a Site of Grace at each entrance. This will tell you that you are in the right spot. You can also farm upgrade material underground, such as in the Siofra River or Ainsel River. You can also buy it from certain vendors and leave it to loot after defeating enemies.
