About Farming Simulator 17
Farming Simulator 17 was released on October 25, 2016. Fendt returns to Farming Simulator 17 after its 2009 debut. Also, it features Massey Ferguson and Challenger.
Soybeans, sunflowers, and oilseed radishes can be grown for the first time in the base game. To add these crops, the player had to first download a modification in previous games.
To increase crop yield, the crop growth mechanics have been modified to allow for different methods. You can fertilize the fields multiple times during the growth stages, after a certain number of harvests, or use oilseed radish to cover crops.
A new missions system was also added, which allows the player to work with other farmers in-game. Additional features include in-game radio and drivable trains.
A new expansion pack for all platforms was released on November 14, 2017. This expansion pack included a new map, growth of sugarcane, and new vehicles as well as tools.
This expansion pack was known as the platinum and comes free with the season pass, which is also available on all platforms.
