Description
The video game Driver: San Francisco is an Action, Adventure, Racing title. The shift is a new feature that allows Tanner the ability to switch from car to car without stopping his mission.
The shift was inspired by Google Earth. It was described as “a return to the origins” of this series since the Driver 2 feature of being able to exit the vehicle was replaced by the Shift mechanic (teleportation) because the developers thought that there were already too many similar games.
The player can start missions with Shift. All cars have a boost feature that can be used by pressing up on the left stick. The Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the game allow players to use the left shoulder buttons or L1 for a special “ram” attack against cars.
