Top 6 Horror Movies Worth Playing Right Now

It’s a bit of a paradox, but almost everyone likes a good thrill, and there are so many activities that can raise such feelings, like high-quality slots at the crypto casino India and horror games. And there’s no better way to get scared in complete safety than with a good horror game.

Dead Space

Space horror games are a pretty rare genre. However, thanks to series like Dead Space, it not only exists, but has quite a few fans. In 15 years, the first part is already outdated, but that’s why there are remakes, right? The updated version was created almost from scratch, and its graphics and gameplay pulled up to modern levels. The perfect excuse to remember the classics – or get to know them. Well, if you suddenly feel like you need more, try Callisto Protocol.

Resident Evil 4 Remake

It’s another remake and a great update for a great game. In its time, Resident Evil 4 did the seemingly impossible. It could turn a drab survival horror into a great upbeat action game. Perhaps that’s why the series still exists today and feels great. Whether you like horror or action, it has it all.

Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse

Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse was released in Japan back in 2008 and now has finally come to us. The graphics have been properly improved, but the core of the game has remained the same. It’s still a leisurely psychological horror about hunting ghosts by means of an ancient camera. This title is a real must have for fans of horror games with national Japanese coloring.

The Evil Within

Even at the stage of announcement the game gave gamers hope that the developers will be able to release high-quality horror. The thing is that the producer of this project was Shinji Mikami – the well known game designer, who created the Resident Evil universe.

Mikami didn’t let us down, and gamers received a rather original, interesting, and most importantly, scary survival-horror. The main character is Detective Sebastian Castellanos, who is forced to investigate a mass murder committed on the grounds of a psychiatric hospital.

Naturally, the case isn’t limited to patients with broken psyche, and during the first hours of gameplay, players will face creepy creatures, a full sense of helplessness and hopelessness. The high complexity of The Evil Within forced gamers to resort to hiding places and careful passing through the game.

The spirit of the first parts of Resident Evil is noticeable here, it concerns both the gameplay mechanics and Mikami’s ability to set the right tone of narration, and in the case of The Evil Within this can be called the project’s strengths.

For the second part the developers did a good job on their mistakes. The Evil Within 2 became more interesting, the gameplay mechanics were improved, and it got a lot of positive comments from the press.

The Outlast Trials

Outlast is a great example of a series that evolves from game to game. The first part was a chamber horror about a mental asylum. The second, dedicated to the American outback, became more drawn to the open spaces. And the third was a full-fledged cooperative horror.

Dredge

This is the most unusual game. Combine Lovecraftian horror with a fishing simulator so far, it seems no one has thought of it. And in vain! Unquiet night sea beckons with ancient mysteries. In the abyss of water roam disgusting creatures. The deck of a rickety boat creaks underfoot … It’s the perfect atmosphere for a truly deep horror. The result is a mixture of Call of Cthulhu and Ex Machina, if you remember them. It’s a small but decent (and in some places really creepy) indie masterpiece.
