Last chance for PlayStation Plus members to get one of the largest open-world games
We all know when it comes to video games with an open world, bigger is not necessarily better.
Most people will agree that Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla are too big. Skyrim is not the biggest open world, but it is one of the best.
It’s true that we all want to dive into a huge open-world adventure, but don’t you? PlayStation Plus subscribers have the opportunity to grab this game now. However, it will not be available in the Library of Free Games for much longer.
From 15 August onwards, the open-world racer The Crew 2 by Ubisoft will officially leave PlayStation Plus Extra. This means you have only a couple of weeks left to check it out and download it. You could buy it, I suppose, if that’s what you want.
The Crew 2 has a map that is incredibly large, covering 5,000 to 7,000 kilometers and boasting over 10,000 km of driveable roads. It’s one of the largest open-world games in terms of sheer scale. You can drive almost all of America in the game (scaled-down, obviously), but it will take over an hour.
As we have made clear, however, size doesn’t matter. If you’re interested in The Crew 2, it isn’t the most widely acclaimed racing game. If you want to spend a few minutes tearing up through a virtual America, or if it’s just to have some fun and see for yourself how large this game is. This is the perfect time to get it.
