The design of the new PlayStation console has been slammed as ‘awful’
PlayStation’s latest handheld device companion is yet to be released, but fans have already criticized its design as ‘awful.’
Sony’s first PlayStation showcase in many years was held earlier this summer. Let’s say it wasn’t very impressive. Many of the reveals made were cross-platform. Sony fans are unsure of what comes next after Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. Although it’s not confirmed, many are certain that Sony is preparing another summer showcase. There’s still plenty of news to be announced, especially with the rumors about The Last of Us Part II Remaster and those suspected Uncharted footage and Ghost of Tsushima 2 we saw in early this year. Sony has revealed Project Q, however.
Project Q is a handheld device that allows you to remotely play PS5 games. The device is a hybrid of a DualSense and Nintendo Switch controller. The handheld is not truly standalone as you need your PS5 base console in order to use it. However, it’s exciting to see Sony again dabbling with the handheld market. Project Q will launch in the second half of this year. Sony has not yet revealed the exact date.
Someone has managed to get their hands on a device that was leaked online. The unknown leaker can be seen in a video flicking the device’s interface before taking it apart to examine its internal workings. The Twitter account Zuby_Tech captured screenshots from the video.
The design isn’t appealing to fans. We won’t be able to judge how it runs until we test it ourselves. That looks terrible. tweeted that no one would buy it. said that the thing was ugly. This s**t is ugly. commented. We’ll soon find out.
