Call of Duty Season 5 art teases the return of classic weapons
The release of season 5 for Warzone, and Modern Warfare 2 has just been announced. This is exciting news to players who are eager to find out what Infinity Ward and Raven Software will be releasing.
Modern Warfare 3 will be released in the next few months. As with previous updates, the Battle Pass is likely to include a selection of new weapons.
After the release of artwork for the new season, some players have spotted what they believe to be a returning classic weapon.
Call of Duty classic weapon returning in Season 5
Call of Duty social media gave the first glimpse of some of the new content coming in the next season update on July 26. One weapon has been the focus of attention, along with three operators.
The FAMAS assault weapon was immediately recognizable in Oz’s hands. This version of the weapon looks more like the original Black Ops FAMAS than the Modern Warfare 2 burst-style rifle. According to player reactions, most are excited about using the gun. One said: “Woah! The Famas?”
Black Ops’ FAMAS featured an extremely fast rate of fire that could eliminate opponents within a blink of an eye. The assault rifle was first seen in Black Ops Cold War, as the FFAR 1
Modern Warfare 2, Graves Operator
Philip Graves, the Shadow Company Leader and leader of the Shadow Company is returning after the end of Modern Warfare 2’s campaign. Graves is clearly a favorite of one player, who declared, “Graves my beloved!”
It is possible that the return of the Shadow Company’s leader coincides with the Modern Warfare 3 revelation. The data miners claim that this faction will play a major role in an in-game event that may take place in Season 5.
