Ubisoft revealed the time it will take you to complete Assassin’s Creed mirage. It’s a lot shorter than other entries.

The recent Assassin’s Creed titles, namely the RPG series, have significantly expanded the scope of this game with their vast open worlds and never-ending quests. They also offer a great deal of gameplay, particularly if you’re a completist.

The first RPG in the series Assassin’s Creed Origins had a large map. Its successors Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla took open-world exploring to ridiculously high levels. The open-world exploration was too large for even the most devoted fans. This is why they were grateful to hear that the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla would have a map with fewer boundaries to explore.

The smaller map will mean fewer things to do. There won’t be as many sidequests as the previous three titles, so many people have wondered how long the game would take.

Ubisoft recently addressed the length of the game through an interview conducted by YouTuber Julien Chieze, who interviewed Fabian Salomon, the lead producer for Assassin’s Creed Mirage. How long is it? Salomon said that the latest playtimes received are on average 20-23 hours. This can be up to 30 hours for completionists. We’ll estimate that a rushed gamer will spend around 20 hours.

This is a huge improvement over the other games, and we are grateful for that. HowLongToBeat shows that the main stories of Origins, Valhalla, and HTML3_ Odyssey HTML3_ take 30 hours, 45, and 60 minutes respectively. This doesn’t even include the side content and DLCs for each game.

Assassin’s Creed mirage promises to bring the series to its roots, close-quarters combat and stealth. I’m certain many players will appreciate a short game.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage launches on October 12th for Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 as well as PC.
