Hogwarts Legacy remains 2023’s best-selling game despite Zelda launching
Despite fierce competition, Hogwart’s legacy still holds the title of the most popular game of the year.
Hogwarts Legacy has maintained its popularity since it was released earlier this year. Thousands of Harry Potter enthusiasts are still enjoying the game across multiple platforms including Xbox, PlayStation, and PC.
Mods have allowed players to add their own unique features. These include simple gameplay improvements, multiplayer online tests, and even the hilarious turning all the wands into guns.
The game has generated over $1 billion so far. This means that it is earning more than Harry Potter movies. You can therefore expect sequels to be released in the future. Many fans have already pitched ideas for another game. The sales of the game have so far been very impressive. However, the Nintendo Switch will likely increase them to greater heights in the coming months. It’s been a long road for the Switch port, which has seen several delays.
Hogwarts Legacy is the top-selling video game for the current year. This position doesn’t appear to be changing despite the competition of other AAA titles. There have already been several major releases, including The Legend Of Zelda, Tears of the Kingdom, and Resident Evil 4 (2023) to name a couple.
