Kassandra from Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will return for an all new open world game experience
Kassandra from Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will be returning in Assassin’s Creed Jade but in a different way than you might think.
Closed beta testing for Ubisoft’s mobile open-world game, Assassin’s Creed: Jade is underway.
Assassin’s Creed takes players to China in the third century BCE, introducing a number of firsts for the series. Most notably, a character that can be customized. You can create your very own assassin, with any features and face you like.
The latest leak of gameplay revealed that the game would feature familiar faces like Kassandra, from Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. This was a pleasant surprise, to say the least.
Content creator JorRaptor shared screenshots of the game on Twitter after the YouTube channel, Assassin’s Creed Series, shared gameplay.
According to what we saw, Kassandra appears briefly in her own game and teaches the player some assassination skills. This isn’t the first time Kassandra has appeared in another game. Kassandra was featured in a crossover episode of Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla.
It’s unknown if Ubisoft plans to feature her in future cameos, but it’s nice to see that she’s still doing great after the events of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Kassandra obtained the Staff of Hermes at the end of the story. This gave her immortality. Kassandra is also set to reappear as part of the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Nexus virtual reality game.
As reported by other sources, Assassin’s Creed players in India were unable to take part in the Assassin’s Creed: Jade Beta and they may not be able to play the final release either, since the game is potentially blocked by the Indian Government.
Assassin’s Creed: Jade has no release date yet, but is aiming to launch in early 2024 on mobile devices.
