Edward Kenway, Assassin’s creed’s protagonist is hailed by gaming as one of the greatest heroes
Fans of Assassin’s Creed claim that Edward Kenway, the protagonist from Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag, is the most popular character in the entire series.
Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag has to be one of the most popular games in the series. The game’s characters, storyline, mix of land-and-sea gameplay, and sea shanties still receive high praise today.
Edward Kenway was a lovable pirate with a dream of riches and fame, but he lost everything to become a true hero.
Fans are now praising the main character as the best the show has ever produced.

But even after completing all the games, I have never experienced the joy Edward brought me. Am I the only one or is Edward more charismatic than the other MCs?”
He’s also the most popular, with many praising Matt Ryan for his incredible performance as the character and the story he wrote in Black Flag.

Edward is my favorite AC character. His story was fascinating to watch. It’s one of the reasons I picked Black Flag for my first AC Switch game. Matt Ryan is another reason. “Loved him as Constantine.”
Hopefully, the upcoming remake creates even more fans for the character. This will hopefully pave the way to his eventual return in a spin-off or sequel title like Assassin’s Creed: Titans.
