GTA 6 Announcement leaves fans on edge
GTA V has been announced, and it’s left many on edge. They can no longer look at any Rockstar post on social media without seeing a teaser.
Rockstar Games announced in February 2022 that GTA 6 was in active Development. Since then, the studio is incredibly tight-lipped. Rockstar has only acknowledged that GTA VI exists when they responded to the infamous gameplay leaked from an early build from last summer.
This radio silence has led to fans living in fear that the GTA 6 trailer will appear at any moment. Twitter and Reddit are usually full of hopeful fans and insiders claiming that the game will be released any moment now. It’s easy to fall for this hype.
We know that the game is in the development stage for over a decade and will launch by the end of March 2025. It’s not impossible to imagine that the game will be released soon.
It’s even worse when Rockstar announces something else on social media, which isn’t the GTA VI. On the subreddit for the game, fans expressed their frustrations. They revealed that every time Rockstar releases a trailer, whether it’s for the GTA Online Update or Red Dead Redemption’s port that was just released, they are swept away in the hype for a couple of seconds and think that Rockstar is announcing GTA VI. The illusion of GTA VI is never real, as it is always a lie. But GTA 6 are at this point, as they have been since last year’s announcement.
