Xbox Redfall’s failure is due to an alarming number of players

Redfall has seen its players drop to the double digits. It is considered one of Xbox’s biggest flops.

Arkane Studio released the Xbox-exclusive vampire-hunting game Redfall in May this year. It was met with harsh criticism both from players and reviewers. The Steam review page for the game currently displays mostly negative reviews.

Its gameplay was described as generic and dull, with many bugs and glitches.

Redfall has a shrinking player base, with numbers that are not breaking triple digits. This is a game in ruins, and it won’t rise from the grave any time soon.

The screenshot was posted by Sadiqfaizee on Reddit. It revealed that the game’s peak concurrent players reached 6,124 in just four months. The screenshot also revealed that there were 47 players active in the past 24 hours and 15 online at the moment the image was taken.

It’s obvious that this is not good news, but the players were unsurprised by the low interest shown in the game. Reddit user said: “Lmao. 15 people is too many.” “Hahah oof. “It’s been 4 months. They could have patched it or given a roadmap. But even if the patch is done, it will be dead except for those that dabble in it with their Game Pass,” another said.

One comment stated: “There are more comments on this post that there were players in the past 24 hours. GG.” The game’s user count is unlikely to improve since no new content will be added. Even if there was new content added to the game, the result would likely be the same, as the original game wasn’t very fun.
