Your device can not only solve environmental puzzles but can also be used against creatures you encounter from parallel dimensions. While most often you cannot defeat your foes directly, using the Manipulator you may outwit or suspend them; for instance, force field energy can freeze in place enemies while light can disorient those sensitive to it, thus creating a distraction. You will require advanced strategies combining different energy types to defeat these foes successfully.
