Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is an action-oriented first-person shooter game created in collaboration with Infinity Ward and published by Activision.
Gameplay in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is focused on rapid-paced battles with enemy soldiers. The player plays as an army, and has the ability to execute a range of actions such as jumping, sprinting, crouching or lay down to shoot their guns’ iron sights. If the soldier is hit by an opponent blood will splash across the display of their heads (HUD) and indicate the extent of injuries. However, if the participant stays safe from gunfire by taking cover and regaining their health, they will be able to recover. The HUD will also display other data including the compass, a mini map along with the player’s actual ammunition counts. This game comes with traditional firearms which include assault rifles handguns, shotguns, as well as rifles for snipers.
Each player is given certain guns in the first part of every level. However, they can swap them out for other guns they discover. There are some guns that have attachments for example, suppressors, or heartbeat sensors. Additionally, the player may use flashbangs and grenades when confronted by a lot of adversaries, and also as knives to engage in close-quarters fighting. On certain levels where the player is equipped with specialized equipment like night vision glasses or even a laser designation.
