Medal of Honor: Allied Assault, a first-person shooting video game, was developed by 2015, Inc. The single-player missions included assaulting the German base in Algiers, Norway, and Omaha Beach during D-Day, as well as rescuing comrades in occupied France behind enemy lines. Many of the game’s missions are compared with Steven Spielberg’s 1998 film Saving Private Ryan. Many of these levels contain direct quotes of scenes (or complete sequences, as is the case in the Omaha Beach Mission) from the movie.
Medal of Honor Frontline recreated Omaha Beach for consoles. After selecting a server type and game, the game begins in spectator mode. The player then chooses whether to join the allies of the axis and selects the weapons. This game uses a points system. It adds points to the total number of rounds and kills, subtracts points from suicides, and gives death points if you are killed.
