Sleeping Dogs is an action-adventure video game created by United Front Games and published by Square Enix. The player plays Wei Shen, a Chinese-American police officer who is undercover, and is able to penetrate an organization called the Sun On Yee Triad organisation. Initial missions in the game consist of a sequential training for the player to manage his character.
After these players are able to discover the world of the game as well as take part in other assignments and various other tasks. Shen travels around the world leaping, running, climbing through obstacles and swimming and even driving boats, cars as well as motorcycles. The head-up display (HUD) interface includes an interactive map that shows the locations of targets, important points (safe residences and contact points) as well as Shen’s current location.
It also has two meters. One shows Shen’s health while the other shows his face. If the face meter is full the upgrade options are not available including the regeneration of health, enhanced capabilities in combat, and lower expenses for equipment. The HUD will also display the weapon used and the ammunition capacity.
