PlayStation Store sales will continue to offer discounts on games for the PS4, PS5, and PSVR 2 throughout 2024.
When attempting to replenish our ever-growing backlog, it’s important to have a plan in place. This is especially true when we are tracking sales across multiple stores. We’ve created this helpful expected schedule for PlayStation Store sales in 2024 to let you know when to expect to be able grab items on your wishlist.
PlayStation Store Sales start usually at the end each month. This gives players several weeks to look through and choose which titles to buy.
Next scheduled PlayStation Store sale is: Day of Play between May 28th and June 12th, 2024

PlayStation Store Spring 2024 Sale
Expected active from: 14 March to 28 March
The PlayStation Store Spring Sale 2020 will kick off with a set of new discounts, which should cover both major and lesser releases.
The highlights included Alan Wake 2 for PS31.99; Dead Island 2 for PS30.24; Avatar Frontiers of Pandora, at PS35.99; The Lord of the Rings Return to Moria, at PS19.64 and Prince of Persia The Lost Crown, at PS26.99.
PlayStation Store Days of Play in 2024
Expected active between: June 12 – May 16
You’ll find it hard to disagree with anyone who says that a single large sale is not enough. This belief is exemplified by the almost-month-long PlayStation Store Days of Play. In previous years, the PlayStation Store Days of Play 2024 featured a wide range of titles at discounted prices as well as an ever-growing library of PlayStation Plus titles.

The PlayStation Store Summer Sale 2020 is another of the smaller sales that occur throughout the year. It’s a great opportunity to get new games and keep ourselves busy in the long summer months. The discounts in the past included Dead Island 2, The Last of Us Part 2 and Crime Boss: Rockay City.
PlayStation Store Halloween 2024 Sale
Expected active from: October 16 to October 30
PlayStation Store Halloween Sale 2020 offers not only seasonal spooks but also a number of non-spooky titles at reduced prices. Now is the time to add more horror games to your collection with discounts on The Outlast Trials and Dead Island 2.
PlayStation Store Black Friday Sale 2024
Expected active between: 19 November – 26 November
In 2024, the PlayStation Store’s Black Friday Sale will rival that of other stores with a variety of deals. The weeklong sale usually includes a wide range of popular releases for reduced prices.
Flash Sale on PlayStation Store and The Game Awards 2024
Expected active between: 5 December – 7 December
PlayStation Store’s The Game Awards Sale gives players a last chance to get discounted titles, before the December Holiday Sale concludes the year. As a rule, the nominated games for award ceremonies are discounted.
PlayStation Store Holiday Sale 2024
Scheduled to operate between December 11, 2025 and January 2, 2025
Sony will respond to the rival platform’s sales by launching its PlayStation Store Holiday Sale in 2024 around mid-December. The PlayStation Store Holiday Sale 2024 features some of the largest discounts and games added to PlayStation Plus. In the past games like God of War and Saints Row as well as Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands have been heavily discounted. Look out for this one!
