FFXIV Live Brief Summary and Breakdown — All in Patch 6.2
Final Fantasy XIV players continue to feast as the Producer’s latest Live Letter gave a lot of information about Patch 6.2. The update is called “Buried memory” and Patch6.2 will be released in late August 2022. Along with the continuation of the main storyline in MSQ FFXIV6.2 will include new Tribal Quests and Relic Weapons as well as new dungeons. There will also be trials, raids, and PVP content. Job changes can also be made. We also get Island Sanctuary for the first time. Below is our Live Letter summary.
Trial and New MSQ Dungeon
A major patch is a continuation of the main story, as always. Oh my God, that Cid! Yes! You love to see our man back in action on the main scenario quests.
A new instanced dungeon for four players will be added to the MSQ: FFXIV patch 6.2 will bring us what’s known as The Fell Court Of Troia. We know that this is Endwalker continuing the trend of embedding its lore into Final Fantasy IV references. Troia was an old RPG town that you could visit. It had a predominantly matriarchal society. A preview image was featured in the Live Letter — it looks terrible! (See below.)
We might be venturing back into the Void, considering the aesthetics and the events in Patch 6.1 MSQ.
FFXIV Patch 6.2.2 will feature a new boss fight between eight players in the trial, but details are kept private for spoiler purposes. We’ll also get the Extreme difficulty version.
Hildibrand Quests tied to new relic weapons
There is nothing quite like grinding for Relic Weapons and there is no better fun than the adventures of Inspector extraordinaire. These two are now one with FFXIV patch 6.2. The Live Letter revealed that is the next series of Relic Weapons. This means you should be familiar with the entire story of the Gentleman of Light Hildibrand.
These Endwalker-era weapons, the legendary Manderville weapons of Manderville, are quest-centric. This questline will continue into the future 6. x patches. With more “Somehow Further Hildibrand Adventures”, quests, the questline will also continue. The preview images show Nashua Mhakaracca on the moon.
