About the Backbone
Backbone is a narrative adventure that combines post-noir and fiction. As Howard Lotor, a raccoon private investigator, you will uncover a personal story of transformation and change. You’ll also explore the dystopian Vancouver, BC, populated by beautiful pixel art animals.
Howard Lotor, after years of working in small-time jobs, working alone, and barely making ends meet, is finally offered a job that is unlike any others. As a result, Howard is forced to confront the City’s systemic, oppressive power hierarchy, despite what starts as a simple case.
