Loboto’s Labyrinth, the first mission in Raz’s latest adventure, is full of similar secrets. However, some trinkets from the nightmarish realm are more difficult to find than others.
Nuggets of Wisdom (and Memory Vaults) are two of the most hidden collectibles in the region. Players won’t have the opportunity to collect them all until they can visit Loboto’s realm during Psychonauts 2, so it can be hard to find where to look. Here’s where the evil dentist keeps all of the Nuggets of Wisdom and Memory Vaults for players who are struggling to find them.
Memory vaults
There are two memory vaults in Loboto’s Labyrinth. Raz will be able to gain insight into the psychonauts and Psychonauts of Ruin villains, which Raz will discover when he finds them. They are worth looking for if you’re looking for story ideas or a way to get a 100% rating.
The first memory vault found in Loboto’s Labyrinth can be found quite early in the mission. It appears after Raz’s fight against the Central Office censors. Once the fight is over and Raz has spoken with Coach Oleander about his thoughts, turn around and go to the opposite end of the room. A metal shelving unit will cover the gaping hole in your wall. Players will discover the first Memory Vault by breaking down the cardboard boxes placed in front of the hole.
Raz must return to Loboto’s Labyrinth to find the second Memory Vault. He will need to do this after Sasha gives him access to the Collective Unconscious. By then, players will have the Mental Connection ability from Hollis’ classroom, which is required to find the next Memory Vault.
After leaving the Dental Void, navigating down the teeth tunnel, and entering the Asylum area, there will be a Mental Connection strand to the player’s right. It will lead you to the Memory Vault.
Nuggets for Wisdom
Similar to the Memory Vaults there are two Nuggets of Wisdom that Loboto can find in Loboto’s Labyrinth. These trinkets won’t be available until Raz returns from the Collective Unconscious. Players don’t need to look for them in the prologue.
You can purchase the first Nugget of Wisdom in the main office. Players will be facing the Loboto portrait, which Lilli and Raz had destroyed in the original level. The Psychonauts 2 powerpyrokinesis will be used to again burn the painting. However, it won’t reveal a huge Dr. Loboto but instead a Nugget of Wisdom.
In the Trashcan room, Raz uses the telekinesis spell and dodges any falling debris to save Coach Oleander. This is the second Nugget of Wisdom. Players will need to return to the original exit point by the teeth door. The second Nugget Of Wisdom will be revealed by unzipping the door.
