Is Destiny currently down? Status of Destiny 1 & 2 servers
Planned maintenance will take place on Destiny 1 and 2, which will mean that the game will not be available for more than two hours. This is just before the Festival of the Lost event, which is part of Season of the Lost. Continue reading to learn how long it will take to complete your event activities.
Destiny 1 and Destiny 2 have planned downtime
Downtime schedule for November 2nd, 2021
|5am PDT/8am ET/12pm GMT||Sign in to Bungie will be one of the first features that will be made available offline.|
|5:45am PDT/8.45am EST/12:45pm GMT||Destiny 1 & 2 will be taken offline. Players will be kicked and will not be able to log in.|
|8am PDT/11am ET/3pm GMT||Players can log back in but could experience delays.|
|9am PDT/12pm ET/4pm GMT||All background maintenance that continues will be completed.|
Bungie is asking players experiencing problems accessing Destiny services after 9:00 PDT/4:00 UTC to contact the Help Forum.
Destiny 2: Festival of the Lost ending
The planned downtime for the current Destiny 2 event Festival of the Lost ends on the same day. There will be some time left if you’re still trying to complete the event. Destiny 2’s weekly reset time is typically around 10 a.m. PDT/1 p.m. EST/5 p.m. GMT. This means that you will have approximately two hours to complete Festival of the Lost.
