Elden Ring Preview – Watch the Elden Ring Gameplay Reveal: Live Coverage

You can now rewatch the Elden Ring gameplay reveal video without any live updates. What did we think? It looks very smart. It was very well lit and the environments were beautiful. The voice acting was not too sloppy and there were some interesting plot twists.

We were treated to environments like dungeons, castles, and biomes like forests and mountains with a time span of just over 15 minutes.

To be fair, it packed quite a bit in, even though it did not always seamlessly segway the parts together. It did its job. Do we feel more excited about Elden Ring now than before it began? We probably are.

Elden Ring Reveal Live Updates:

Now, wait for three minutes. Dramatic music is continuing to rise…

14.01 GMT We are off! A little bit of horseback riding will get us started. We are able to enjoy the peaceful flow of the river until we are attacked by a huge dragon.

14.02 A few strikes to the face and the dragon’s out. We are now moving, don’t you think? There is some voice acting and some conversation between the main character (or something).

14.04 – We are now learning about the map, and how it works using map markers. To be fair, it looks pretty cool. You can place beacons onto the map to make it appear in your worldview. To fly through the air, you can ride your horse into “spirit springs”. This is a little more bizarre. It allows for great verticality. Horseriding was a great way to get that verticality, but we didn’t realize it.

14.06 Now, we prepare for combat by doing some crafting and then some stabbing. We are now seeing new attacks that can be achieved by switching weapons. It is beautiful. It is possible to summon spirits to aid you in fighting.

14.08 We are now seeing stealth through the woods. This looks very Autumnal and is again beautiful. Wow… That’s a boss riding a huge thing, but now we can see some co=op gameplay between the two fighters as they take on their enemy.

14.10 – It’s time to descend into the dungeons and catacombs. It looks great, even though I am repeating myself. It is very well lit, especially since the torch of the main character was turned off.

14.11 Getting to the end with a creepy little girl wearing a hooded scarf. We are offered a gift by this creepy girl in a hooded cloak. She’s gone. Was just getting interesting.

14.13 – A NPC is giving us advice on how to get past the guards. But do you trust him? I think we won’t discover this today.

14.14 — We should have listened. It’s all good. We are now fighting on narrow ledges as we climb up to the castle’s top. This is not an easy route. Some undead enemies can be difficult to navigate.

14.15 We do a bit of Assasin’s Creed-esque Parkour, and climb through a window to have a conversation with an English-speaking chap.

14.17 We now have a very delicious-looking cut-scene that leads to another battle with classical operetta for its soundtrack. This is dramatic, you can’t deny it.

14.19 – We are done. We are told that ‘The Tarnished will soon be returning’ and that we have only a few days to wait for release date. The narrator promises more information soon.

This trailer was pretty cool. Now we are getting advertisements for the release date of February 25, 2022. Also, we have a look at digital editions and collectors. This brings us to an end.
