ENLISTED SUPPORT CROSSPLAY – WHAT DO WE KNOW ABOUT PLAY CROSS-PLATFORM?
Six years after its initial announcement, Enlisted is now open beta. crossplay support, which is a multi-platform release of the free-to play title, is frequently discussed by its community. Some players look forward to it, while others fear it.
An empty server is not a good environment for multiplayer games. Enlisted’s cross platform support allows players from different platforms to fight each other. This feature was initially enabled but then it was disabled again. It still has limitations due to the fact that the game isn’t yet fully released.
Crossplay support is available for Enlisted?
Enlisted’s crossplay support has been enabled again with the Open Beta. However, players can choose to matchmake with other players on different platforms.
This is a response to console users complaining about the inherent advantage PC players have due to keyboard and mouse support.
Enlisted is not the only place where there’s a debate about the superiority of the former. While you will always have people on both sides, it’s always helpful to have the option of enabling crossplay.
While you can play against other people on platforms, Enlisted’s cross platform support does not yet allow for partying with friends. As the launch gets closer, this might change.
