Burning Crusade Classic Phase 3: PTR Down Due to Server Stability Issues

Blizzard’s phase 3 Burning Crusade Classic PTR went live last week. However, it was removed due to server problems that caused constant disconnecting, crashing, and stability issues.

The PTR is expected to be live again this week. However, Blizzard has not yet released any information about how long it will remain life, especially as the holiday season is rapidly approaching.

Last week, the Shadowlands PTR was confirmed that it would not receive any updates until 2021. It’s therefore surprising that Blizzard won’t push this new Classic build before then.

Phase 3 PTR was live. It included the new tier 6 raids, including the Black Temple and Hyjal Summit. This gives players a first look at their difficulty levels. These raids come after Blizzard nerfed TempestKeep and Serpentshrine Caverns to assist struggling guilds.

Phase 2 was up on the PTR for more than a month. There were no extended breaks. This gave players plenty of time to test the raids. However, players aren’t sure that this will happen again.

Players can expect a January release date for the Burning Crusade Classic Phase 3 if everything goes according to plan.
