DYING LIGHT 2: CROSSPLAY – WHAT DO YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT SUPPORT FOR CROSS-PLATFORM SUPPORT?

Dying Light 2 will be one of the most popular games of 2022, building upon the foundation of the original in terms of gameplay and worldbuilding. Many questions about crossplay and how cross-platform support extends at launch are common with titles with an online component.

Crossplay in Dying Light 2 would be a welcome addition to the open-world game. It allows players to help one another regardless of their platform. Techland is implementing this feature in more and more games.

Dying Light 2 cross-platform support won’t be available at launch in February 2022, despite it being one of the most requested features in online discussions.

In an interview with website Wccftech, Tymon Smektala, Lead Game Designer, confirmed that this was the case.

“So, we will not implement this at the beginning but we are very closely looking at it and hopefully we will be able activate/introduce that later during the life-of the game,” Smektala stated.

You won’t play with other players on Dying Light 2 at launch due to the lack of Dying Light 2 Crossplay.

It’s encouraging to know that Dying Light 2 will be available on multiple platforms after launch.

We are hopeful that the feature will be available soon, and we will keep you updated on when or if it happens.

Dying light two will launch on February 4, 2022. It is available for PC, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One.
