STELLARIS ALIEN BOX GUIDE – WHAT’S INSIDE THE ORBITAL SPEED DEMON EVENT?
Stellaris has many events to watch, exceptionally since some can be multi-staged and have multiple outcomes. This guide will show you how to obtain the Alien Box opened from the Orbital Speed Demon event and select the fitting reward for you.
This reward is a choice for Alien Box Colour. It adds a permanent trait for your primary species, making it exceptional.
It is important to note that the event rewards have changed with the planetary mechanic updates. While some of the old code remains, it is no longer valid. This means that you will not receive the trait replacements you might expect if the event was familiar.
Stellaris Alien Box Guide
This is a joint event for science ships. There are a few options. The first and second, slow it down and attempt to stop it respectively, will try to continue the event, while the third, Get out of it, will cancel it.
Stop it. You should choose this option if the next stage needs to be triggered.
Alien Box Opened
Next, you have three options. You can choose to Open the box and Learn more to start a unique project. The learn option is not worth it as you will only be able to sell the package for tiny credits and minerals quickly. It will also double the number of projects you can complete if the available vials.
You will receive Physics Research and a final project. After the project is complete, you will choose between vials.
Alien Box Colors
It all comes down to your species’ needs, but we have found that any one of the vials can be used.
- Red– Adds social pheromones that decrease Pop Housing use by 5%
- Green: Adds Limited Regeneration that increases Leader Lifespan of 10 years and decreases Army Damage by 10%
- Blue– Increases Habitability by 5% with Bioadaptability.
- Sell– Get some Minerals and Credits
